Mansfield R-IV School Board meets
The following are summarized meeting minutes from the Mansfield R-IV School Board meeting held on May 14.
Superintendent Dr. Clint Hall provided the financial report. Mr. Konyha, Ms. Coberly, Mr. Garrison and Mrs. Felker each provided written admin reports. Dr. Hall also provided the superintendent’s report. In New Business, the Board had their first reading of MSBA Policy Update 2025A. No action was taken.
The district unanimously approved the following items:
• the district’s 2025-26 salary schedules as presented as well as a 3% increase for those not on a salary schedule and increasing the Board paid portion of the health insurance to $500 per month without a health screener.
• Bread bid accepted from Mansfield Town and Country.
• Milk bid accepted from Hiland Dairy.
• Auditing three year bid accepted from Schultz, Wood & Rapp.
• Bid accepted from Corder Heating and Air for two new units for the high school commons costing $48,415.
• Bid accepted from Masters Transportation for $92,000 to purchase a 2022, 71-passenger IC bus with 6,396 miles.
• The names of Dr. Nate Moore and Debbie Letsinger were removed from school safety deposit box at HomePride Bank. Dr. Hall and Tyler Rummens names added.
• Retirement accepted for bus driver Dale Keith.
• Skye Elliott, paraprofessional, and Pauline Whorton, district psych examiner, were both approved 7-0.
Also, Stacy Bishop moved from paraprofessional to MS/HS lunch clerk.
