The Christmas shopping season officially kicks off this week as shoppers from all over the area come to Mountain Grove for the City Wide Christmas Open House Friday-Saturday, Nov. 20-21.
This year’s fourth annual event, organized by the Mountain Grove Chamber of Commerce, features around nine participating businesses who will be opening their doors and offering customers many special sales, bargains, refreshments and more.
The goal of the event is to get shoppers to spend their money locally before spending it in larger cities in the area.
