HVAC program offered at OMTC

Posted

Ozark Mountain Technical Center (OMTC) has expanded program offerings to include heating, ventilation and air conditioning. HVAC is a two-year program for juniors and seniors enrolled in Mountain Grove, Cabool, Norwood, Mansfield and Hartville schools, and it is also available to adult students.

The program, taught by Mr. Marty Stigall, fills a need for skilled technicians in a growing HVAC industry.

Students receive training in heating and cooling, electricity and wiring, sheet metal work, refrigeration and job safety.

Students are able to gain hands-on experience while working in conjunction with our carpentry program to build a residential home.

At the end of the two-year program, students are able to obtain certification through HVAC Excellence, which is widely recognized in the HVAC industry.
