A motorcyclist lost his life after an accident that took place around 4:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 1.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Crash Report, Riley Pickard, 20, of Mountain View, was riding his 2009 Honda CBR 6000 southbound on Highway 95, 12 miles north of Mountain Grove, when he traveled off the right side of the roadway.
He then struck an embankment, was ejected and struck a tree.
He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Pickard was reportedly wearing a safety device.
