The Norwood Pirates’ memorable season continued to get sweeter last week with four wins, as they picked up a pair of victories over state-ranked teams. The icing on the cake was having senior Garrett Davault become the program’s all-time leading scorer for career points.

Davault surpassed the school record mark of 2,484 points in the Pirates’ road game in Harley.

“Great player who has been an honor to coach,” said Norwood head coach Shane Chadwell. “Congrats on a great accomplishment Garrett!.”

Webb City is a ranked Class 5 school, who is well coached and has some good athletes. It’s a great win for our program but we have to continue to get better everyday. We had several guys step up, it was  a great team win.”
