The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded contracts for the Southeast District during its regular meeting on Feb. 14. Contracts included pavement improvements, bridge replacements, and pavement marking improvements.
Some of the local projects awarded include:
• A $913,134 contract was awarded to Gene Haile Excavating, Inc., for a bridge replacement on Route M over Harris Creek in Wright County.
• A $2,193,615 contract was awarded to STF, LLC, for pavement marking improvements on Routes 60, 63 and 67 in various counties throughout the Southeast District.
• An $8,135,000 contract was awarded to Pace Construction Company, LLC for: Pavement resurfacing on Route 17 from Route 38 to Route 63 in Texas County, and additionally pavement resurfacing and the addition of rumble stripes were announced for a project to take place on Route 17 from Route AW to Route 38 in Texas County.
