Hartville man charged with rape

A Hartville man has been charged with the rape of a 14-year-old girl after an incident that took place in late August.
According to information from both a Wright County Sheriff’s Office report and a probable cause statement, Randy Lee Liles Jr. reportedly assaulted a victim in the location of a former business.
He has since been charged with second degree rape, first degree burglary and fourth degree child molestation.
He is being held with a $25,000 cash bond.
The case was investigated by Detective Sgt. Kim Akers.
All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
