Several Panthers earn All-SCA honors

Several Mountain Grove Panthers’ football players earned All-South Central Association (SCA) Conference honors for their performance during a 2024 season in which the team earned a share of the SCA crown.
Offensively, quarterback Aiden Estep was an unanimous first-team selection. He was also named Back of the Year in the SCA.
Payton Metty was a unanimous selection for first-team on the offensive line. Brayden Haughey swept the special teams honors as he was first-team SCA as a kicker and as a punter.
Second-team offensive honors went to Destin Unger (RB), Damien Martin (OL) and Maliki Davis (OL).
Honorable mention honors on the offensive side of the ball were awarded to Kale Gardner (WR), Luke Watson (OL), Sam Smith (OL) and Haughey (TE),
Defensively, Ayden Barbe (DL), Braydon Curtiss (LB) and Cooper Hoerning (DB) all earned first-team All-SCA recognition.
Second-team honors went to Eli Golden (DL) and Kayden Murphy (LB).
Honorable mention recipients were Slade Rodgers (DL) and Jacob Crosco (DL).
