Six Mountain Grove CC runners head to state

Six cross country runners will be representing Mountain Grove in the Class 3 State Championships in Columbia at the Gans Creek Cross Country Course on Saturday, Nov. 8.
Three Panthers qualified after finishing in the Top-25 in the Class 3, District 2 race held in El Dorado Springs.
Skyler Oliphant was ninth in a field of 116 total runners and had a time of 17:28.10.
Trece White was 21st (18:00.98) and Max Guilliams qualified in 22nd (18:02.43).
Other runners included Masen Byerly (20:29.29), Trigg DeVries (21:13.53) and Lincoln Zohner (24:52.70).
The team was sixth overall with 183 points.
Three Lady Panthers qualified for state after finishing in the Top-25 in districts..
Keena Roth was 13th with a time of 12:10.41. Makynli Blackwell finished 16th (22:26.19) and Nyelli Soto was 23rd (22:50.13) in a field of 87 runners.
Other runners were Chloe Bressie (26:26.37), Isabella Garner (28:30.30), Anna Farran (28:36.55) and Catlin Warner (35:48.70).
As a team, the Lady Panthers were sixth with 133 points.
