Connie Lee Weddle

Connie Lee Weddle
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Connie Lee Weddle, who left this world on May 13, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on Aug. 31, 1948, in Marshfield, Connie spent her life bringing joy and love to those around her, especially in her beloved home of Mansfield. Connie was not only a dedicated administrative assistant for the Assemblies of God District Office, but a cherished friend, family member, and traveler at heart. She embraced life with a zest that was contagious, always ready for the next vacation, adventure or a shopping trip. Her laughter and spirit will surely be missed, but her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her loved ones. She is survived by her devoted husband, Bob Weddle, and their children: son, Rob Weddle, and daughter, Annette Cooper. She leaves behind a wonderful legacy in her grandchildren, J.W. Weddle, Jessica Cockrum, Tori Kennedy and Trey Weddle, and her loving daughter-in-law, Laura Weddle; as well as 15 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Connie’s love for her family was always evident, and she cherished every moment spent together, especially when cooking for her family at holiday gatherings. To honor Connie's life and the indelible mark she left on us all, we invite friends and family to gather for her funeral services on Thursday, May 21, 2026.
A visitation will take place at 9 a.m., followed by a celebration of her life at 10 a.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, 3506 N. National Ave. Springfield, MO 65803. The burial will follow the service at White Chapel in Springfield. As we say our goodbyes, let us remember the laughter, the adventures and the warmth Connie brought into our lives. May we carry her spirit with us, continuing to celebrate the joy she shared with all of us every day.
