In losing a big Summit Conference game with newcomer Sparta last week, the Norwood Pirates’ basketball team’s hopes of being in the conference title chase are officially over.
On Homecoming night against Summit Conference newcomer Sparta, turnovers and the inability to stop the Trojans’ offense led to the Pirates falling, 75-46.
